Build an Agent with Eve: The Open Agent Framework

About this session

Eve is Vercel's framework for durable backend agents, and it starts with a directory. In this hands-on session, you'll go from empty folder to running agent in under an hour: filesystem-first authoring, the channel/harness/workflow runtime, and shipping agents that survive restarts. No experience required.

What you’ll take away

  • Author an agent using a filesystem-first workflow.
  • Explore channels, harnesses, and workflows in the Eve runtime.
  • Understand how a durable agent survives restarts.

Before you join

No prior agent development experience is required. A laptop is useful if you want to follow the hands-on example.
